THINGS TO CONSIDER

• Newborn Story Sessions are scheduled Monday-Thursday in the late morning.

• We have a beautifully curated studio wardrobe that is available to clients to use for their session! We also provide all of the wraps, hats, bonnets, onesies, headbands, etc needed for your baby.

• Simply Newborn Sessions are baby focused. Parent and sibling shots are not a part of this abbreviated session.

• Maternity mini sessions are an add-on exclusive to our newborn clients.

what to expect

RETAINER

Ready to book? Just a $200 nonrefundable retainer + signed contract and you’re on our calendar! The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to your due date/session date.

SCHEDULING

Newborn portraits are unique in that there is a small window of opportunity to get those sleeping, curling poses of your little one. Once babies are over 21 days old, they can wake easier and stay awake for longer periods of time. The BEST time to schedule your newborn session is when your baby is 5-21 days old (but we always allow for flexibility here). Please email or text us while you’re still in the hospital to let us know that your baby has arrived so we can start planning our calendar. Newborn sessions are scheduled on weekday mornings.

OUR STUDIO

Our studio is conveniently located in Xenia. It’s an all natural light space filled with tons of neutral tones and textures so the focus is on your connection and not a busy “background”. Get a peek into our studio here. Your photos will be timeless, cozy, and authentic to you. Our studio is also available for maternity sessions at the client’s request and is a popular choice during the winter months.

Safety

The health and safety of your new baby is our number one priority. Lindsay has 12+ years of experience handling and photographing newborns and a trained shoot assistant is always present to be an extra set of hands. We have strict hand washing and sanitizing protocols and the studio is always cleaned and disinfected in between clients.
